2018 is here…
Are you happy with your life? If you are, great! No need to read the rest. Thanx for stopping by, and all the best for the coming year.
The start of January is usually a time associated with change. A time associated with new habits, and doing things differently.
It is also a time – for many – of short-lived attempts to improve their lives.
Fact: Old habits die hard.
Fact: Most people are unwilling to remain outside their comfort zones for any length of time.
Deduction: New year’s resolutions (mostly) don’t last.
Einstein (smart fellow, from what I can gather…:) said:
“The definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results.”
A couple of years later, along came Jim Rohn (also a clever guy, just not so widely known), and said:
“If you want things in your life to change, you’re gonna have to change things in your life.”
So – that poses the brutally straight question:
Is 2018 going to be different – totally – or is it going to be “just another year of madness?
Because if YOU are not going to make changes…
It’s going to be the same as 2017.
I raised the bar on my expectations, and I already started to increase my efforts to deliver on those expectations.
I dare YOU to do the same.
All the best for 2018 – may it be your best year yet!
